With three or more days, we can build a progressive cenote diving itinerary, starting with sites suited to your experience and introducing more advanced cenotes as your confidence in the cavern environment grows.
Multi-day diving also opens up cenotes such as Nohoch Nah Chich, Dreamgate, Nicte Ha, Taak Bi Ha and Taak Bi Lum — sites we don’t schedule as a first day of cenote diving.

What to Expect on a Cenote Diving Tour?
Our tours are designed to be relaxed and personal, with a maximum of four divers per guide.
Typical two-dive tour time: around 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Three-dive tours usually return around 3:30 pm, depending on the cenotes visited.
Meet at the Dive Shop
Relax, meet your guide, complete forms and get fitted for your dive equipment so everything is comfortable before your tour begins.
Drive to the First Cenote
We load the gear and head to the first cenote. Our dive sites are carefully chosen to be close together so the day stays relaxed.
First Cenote Dive
Your guide gives a site orientation and detailed safety briefing before gearing up and entering the water for your first dive.
Surface Break
Enjoy snacks and refreshments while preparing for the next dive. If moving to another cenote, we pack up and drive to the next site.
Next Cenote Dive
Your guide will give another briefing before you gear up and explore another cavern, experiencing new formations and light effects.
Lunch & Return
After the second dive we enjoy lunch together, relax, and talk about the dives before packing up the gear and returning to the dive shop.

Yes. Cenote diving is very safe when conducted with experienced professional cavern guides and proper procedures. To ensure safety we keep small dive groups for close supervision, stay within the natural light zone of the cavern, follow permanent guide lines, use conservative gas planning for every dive, and provide a detailed pre-dive safety briefing.

No. We offer guided cenote cavern dives, which means you always remain within sight of natural light and the exit. These dives do not require cave certification and are suitable for certified open water divers with good buoyancy control. All dives are guided by experienced professional cavern guides and conducted according to strict cavern diving safety standards.

You must be a certified Open Water diver or higher to participate in cenote diving. Divers should feel comfortable in the water and have good buoyancy control. If you haven't dived recently, we may recommend a refresher dive in Casa Cenote before exploring the cenotes.

We often do these in Casa Cenote, which has a large open-water area where divers can practice key skills such as mask clearing, regulator recovery and buoyancy control. This helps you get comfortable in the water again so you can fully enjoy your cenote dives.

Divers explore crystal-clear freshwater caverns with dramatic limestone formations, light beams, and haloclines where saltwater and freshwater meet. Visibility often exceeds 100 meters (300 feet), making cenotes some of the most visually stunning dive environments in the world.

Most cenote dive sites require divers to be at least 15 years old due to the overhead environment and additional safety considerations. Divers must also be certified and comfortable with buoyancy control.

Yes. Many families with certified teenage divers enjoy cenote diving together. The minimum age for cenote diving is 15 years old, and all divers must hold at least an Open Water certification. For first time cenote divers or families, we often recommend beginner-friendly cenotes such as Casa Cenote. For families with younger children, we're happy to recommend ocean dives or snorkeling options.
